Durnford View
A chalet bungalow built in 2005.  Located at the end of a quiet lane in the rural village of Langton Matravers.  The property has a large lounge, dining room,garden room, closet and fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms and a bedroom with two single beds.  The bathroom has a separate shower toilet, and basin.

 

The property has amazing views of Swanage Bay and the east side of the Purbeck Hills.  Corfe Castle can be seen and North Dorset on a clear day.  Swanage and the beach is some two and half miles and Studland beach is approximately five miles.  For walkers there are endless footpaths to explore.

 

The Heritage Coast and the Jurassic Coast line are within a mile of the property.  Swanage Railway have a halt at nearby Harmans Cross that is approximately half an hour walk.  Buses to Swanage are at least hourly.  Buses to Bournemouth via the chain ferry are also very frequent during the summer months.

 

Swanage is a quintessential seaside resort.  There are a number of cafes, restaraunts and pubs that provide food to suit every palate.  Two small suoer markets provide the essentials whilst small shops offer locally sourced foods.
Wareham a small market town nine miles from Durnford View is worth a visit and has a cinema where one can take a glass of your favourite tipple and provides popular entertainment.
